We approached Melanie and David without any definite ideas of form or structure of a house we were seeking to complement the landscape of our unique block. Melanie and David were able to easily understand our vision and developed a concept that we loved. We were instantly taken with the design, which made the most of the site. As we were living in Perth during the construction we relied on Melanie and David to manage the build. We found it a pleasure to work with them as they always made themselves readily available to meet or consult regarding numerous decisions enabling a smooth progression of the project. Every time we walk in the front door, we note just how beautiful this place is. We thought we knew what we wanted – a modern Australian bush home – but we could never have envisaged the house we ended up with thanks to David and Melanie’s creative talents.
