Edwards St Residence

Located on Mt Shadforth in Denmark, the form of the house is orientated to capture expansive views over the Wilson Inlet and Nullaki Peninsula beyond. An open plan kitchen, dining and living space connect a protected courtyard to the landscape through glazed facades. Bedrooms are located in a separate wing for thermal efficiency and the projects commitment to energy efficiency is rounded out through high levels of insulation and carefully located thermal mass. Timber composite and colorbond cladding reference the sites rural surroundings. The project is anticipated for completion in 2026.
